TARGET 10000 APPEAL UPDATE

The generosity of people from near and far resulted in a final sum approaching £13,000 being donated. This has allowed the Parochial Church Council to meet its many financial obligations without an additional major drain on its financial resources.

The outside of the church is now better protected from both the elements and more malicious sources, and further security measures are planned. On health and safety grounds the churchyard paths require some renovation and resurfacing The inside of the church is to be completely redecorated, and we are looking at ways of making your visits to the church more comfortable.

The Parochial Church Council and The Friends of St. Michael are very grateful and thank all contributors to the appeal for your immediate response and overwhelming generosity. The Quinquenniel Report from the Diocese requires us to undertake further structural repairs both inside and outside the church. We can undertake this work with confidence knowing that our development funds have not been depleted by a serious and entirely unforeseen incident of wanton destruction.
